On any given day you can find K-Fresh the Nem-s-iss performing in clubs around Toronto. Google his name, and you can easily find many of his songs and videos. Yet to be signed to a major record label, this talented rapper already has a loyal fan base. You might be wondering why I would dedicate the first edition of Mrs Makeup Loves.. to a male rapper.
Two years ago I decided to take my makeup skills to the next level. Doing makeup at my counter lacked the excitment I was looking for. Although I had yet to even start my makeup school, I felt I had the confidence and ability to take my skills to the next level.
One day I got an invitation to do makeup at a video shoot for Nem-S-iss `"Mega City" video .
The studio was filled with models, photographers, and camera crew.
The set definetly had a MegaCity feel to it, and it included many talented up and coming industry proffesionals.

Most of the models where very nice to work with, although some did give me my first case of Diva-tude. Some of the faces I worked on included Baby Grhyme, and female canadian hip hop legend Michie Mee!
It turned out to be a great networking event, and I have had the chance to work with many of these people again. As for K-Fresh..He's not your average commercial bubble gum rapper, and his music might be ``too hood`` for some. Say what you want about him, but one thing is for sure..You cant help but respect his hustle. With a steady stream of new music and videos popping up , he continues to strive for excellence. How can I not dedicate my first blog feature to Nem-s-iss? He works hard for what will one day be his time to shine. They say that "Hard work will pay off`", and for him I am convinced it will!
