Black and White with Adrian Ace Whyte

Adrian Ace Whyte is a well known club promotor in downtown Toronto.   Best known for the always succesful Sake and Soul Thursdays at Dazzling Lounge.

Unlike other promotors who copy and paste celebrity photos unto their flyers, Adrian has taken a new approach to promotion, by creating his own concept shoot to promote his upcoming "Black and White" affair.

Hiring a staff of 12 including myself, Adrian chose Dazzling Lounge for the setting of 2 concept shoots. The first being a sophisticated shoot, depicting romance and wine tasting. The models were styled in beautiful dresses hand picked by Adrian himself.

With all the ladies dressed up in flirty summer dresses, they made the freezing weather on the terrace feel like a summers eve.

Check out the amazing jewelry pieces designed by Candace Dillon. Her designs ranging from chunky necklaces with intricate designs to full on body jewelry,  had me scrambling for my debit card.

Hats off to the lovely Rena McQuigge who did all the hairsyles for the models. Never have I seen a hairstylist curl hair so quickly. She took the girls from 2011 to 1950 in a jiffy. And she did it all while standing up for hours in a pair of cute stilletos!

Thank goodness I had the help of my always loyal assistant  Ino Pascua to help me out with the first part of this shoot. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he assisted me in getting the ladies glammed up and ready in a nick of time.

Not only is he a budding MUA but also a great hairstylist! Being one of the most popular at his salon, Ino made a quick escape after the first part of the shoot for an early mornign appointment. Missing the most important part...THE FOOD!

Adrian definetly knows how to host, stuffing all of us with deliscious sushi and spring rolls. Now that's how you feed your crew members !! (photographers and directors take note!)

He also did an amazing job in styling these ladies! The second part of our shoot was inspired by 50s old hollywood glamour. And he thought of every last detail, from the polka dot dresses to the vintage ciggarete holders.

He even threw in some vintage gloves and purses with knee length dresses.  The men looked dapper in their top hats and dress shirts.

Changing the makeup  to red lipstick, blush, winged liner, eye-lashes and beauty marks, and curly up do's  by Rena, the girls looked straight out of an old hollywood film.
In end, the shoot went well,  the cast and crew were proffessional and Adrian Ace Whyte did a spectacular job.

Overall, everything was done with a touch of style and sophistication. As creative director, stylist, and promotor, Adrian Ace Whyte proves time and time again that he is a man of many layers.
